Mr. Alok Jain is the Managing Director of Trans-consult Asia, specializing in Traffic and Transport advisory services. He has worked in The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd. (KMB), Trans-consult Asia Ltd., Hong Kong, and MVA Asia Ltd., Hong Kong, and MTR Corporation / KCR Corporation, Hong Kong. He delivered keynote speech at UITP-BusWorld International Bus Conference in Kortrijk, Belgium on 23rd of October 2017. He shared with the audience about his vision about emerging mobility.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM SHOULD BE SELF-SUSTAINABLE - DELHI METRO RAIL CORPORATION

Mr. Alain Flausch, Secretary General, UITP Brussels was part of panel discussion on "UN Sustainable Development Goals: A game changer for transport planning" at International Transport Forum on May 31, 2017 in Leipzig, Germany. The panel discussion was focus on the achieving the sustainable development goals and importance of transportation sector. Mr. Flausch mentioned some key points during his speech, including some specific example about India:

UITP SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION WITH UPSRTC

UITP  (International Association of Public Transport) signed an Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with UPSRTC (Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation). The signing ceremony was held at UITP Stand during UITP Global Public Transport Summit 2017 on 15 May 2017. The MoC was signed by Mr. Alain Flausch, Secretary General, UITP and Mr. K. Ravinder Naik, Managing Director, UPSRTC.

UITP INDIA BUS SEMINAR PRESENTS HOLISTIC PICTURE ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT DEVELOPMENT - MOTORINDIA

The second International Association of Public Transport (UITP) India bus seminar held in New Delhi on March 29-30 in association with Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System Ltd. (DIMTS) turned out to be a grand success. The two-day seminar that attracted delegates from across the globe and from different organisations in India, including public transport undertakings, State Government departments and manufacturing industries, explored how buses can improve livability in cities.
